Two different celebrations

There are many celebrations in people's lives such as a birth, a graduation, a wedding, and other annual holidays. What about New Year Celebration and Year End Celebration? They are meaningful because these ceremonies are the beginning or the end of a year. So, they have some similarities while also have some differences.

New Year Celebration and Year End Celebration are both meaningful in terms of remind past year that has gone or next year that will come. In New Year Celebration, people remind their new year's plans and usually have tendency to make themselves promises that they will achieve them perfectly, even though they often last only few days. Similarly, in Year End Celebration, they remind their past year and take time for self-reflection about what they achieved or their failures in doing something. In short, these celebrations make people think about their whole past year and coming year. Second thing is that on New Year Celebration and Year End Celebration, people often gather to celebrate themselves with lots of delicious food and the drinks. They throw parties and stay all night, enjoying the mood of celebrations. There are always many news or newspapers that deal with both celebration, for example, special programs for New Year Celebration or Year End Celebration are often broadcast on TV.

On the other hand, there are also big differences in people's attitude or feelings between New Year Celebration and Year End Celebration. On New Year Celebration, people make not only new, but also enormous plans that almost impossible to do. They often quit smoke or alcohol, beginning exercise or getting up early in the morning or studying hard, so it is quite productive day. In contrast, on Year End Celebration, people often feel that they should enjoy the whole day just drinking alcohol, getting along with their friends or family because it's just the last day of the year. People think that they can be an excellent person and it's not too late to start their new plans on a day after Year End Celebration, a New Year's Day. So, it is common that Year End Celebrations are just passed without meaningful things. The other thing is about people's feelings. On New Year Celebration, they often feel happy and hopeful, starting with the new day of a year. By contrast, on Year End Celebration, some people have tendency to feel sad, depressed or even desperate with the thought that they haven't achieved their new-year plans.

Therefore, New Year Celebration and Year End celebration are both meaningful because people can remind their meaning, gathering with their friends or family. However, there are also differences in people's attitude or feeling to them. New Year Celebration is more hopeful with making new plans, but Year End Celebration is little bit sad because of regret to their past year.

    Two different celebrations

There are many celebrations in people’s lives such as births, graduations, weddings, and other annual holidays. What about New Year’s Celebration and Year End Celebrations? They are meaningful because these ceremonies are the beginning or the end of a year especially in Korea. But, they have some different part between them. So, these celebrations have both similarities and differences.

New Year’s Celebration and Year End Celebrations are both meaningful in terms of remembering the past years that have gone or the next years that will come. In New Year’s Celebration, people usually think of their new year’s plans and usually have tendency to make themselves promises that they will achieve them perfectly, even though they often last only few days. Similarly, in Year End Celebrations, they remember their past year and take time for self-reflection about what they achieved or their failures in doing something. In short, these celebrations make people think about their whole past year and coming year. Second thing is that on New Year’s Celebration and Year End Celebrations, people often gather to celebrate themselves with lots of delicious food and the drinks. They throw parties and stay all night, enjoying the mood of celebrations. There are always many news or newspapers that deal with both celebrations, for example, special programs for New Year Celebration or Year End Celebration are often broadcast on TV.

On the other hand, there are also big differences in people’s attitudes or feelings between New Year’s Celebration and Year End Celebrations. They often try hard to quit smoke or alcohol, beginning exercise or getting up early in the morning or studying hard, so it is quite productive day. In contrast, on Year End Celebrations, people often feel that they should enjoy the whole day just drinking alcohol, getting along with their friends or family because it’s just the last day of the year. People think that they can be an excellent person and it’s not too late to start their new plans on a day after Year End Celebrations, a New Year’s Day. So, it is common that Year End Celebrations are just passed without meaningful things. The other thing is about people’s feelings. By contrast, on Year End Celebrations, some people have tendency to feel sad, depressed or even desperate with the thought that they haven’t achieved their new-year plans.

Therefore, New Year’s Celebration and Year End celebrations are both meaningful because people can rethink their meaning, gathering with their friends or family. However, there are also differences in people’s attitudes or feeling to them. New Year’s Celebration is more hopeful with making new plans, but Year End Celebrations is little bit sad because of regret to their past year.
