Smartphone and the Old one

Smartphone that is very smart literally is being released, and helps people live more conveniently. Consumers are responding that situation faithfully, throwing away their existing phones only to buy the Smartphone. They are busy keeping pace with the new trend of the world. At this point, it's certainly important to consider how to dispose a lot of abandoned mobile phones which are very harmful to the environment. And furthermore, we have to care for the matter that it's ok to develop something more competitively and rapidly indeed.

There is the movie "Operation Green Collect: Mobile Phones". Although running time of that movie is just six minutes, and it is animation film actually, the message from that movie isn't simple. The great monster made of countless abandoned mobile phones says to us that we must stop throwing away the phones that are still useful. If we can't do that, we have to find the way to preserve the environment like recycling. Nowadays, many measures are carried out. For instance lots of public and private institutions collect the abandoned phones, reuse them as rent phones, and also extract the available metals from them. And even some amusement parks discount the ticket price at fifty percent by bringing the phone that isn't used. But these measures are not enough and not fundamental. Given that situation, the competition among many mobile phone enterprises is going to be intensified, and then they will make more convenient one. Accordingly, consumers are going to purchase one. People are not able to be satisfied with the status quo. But both enterprises and consumers are socially responsible. Enterprises must give time, effort, and money unsparingly to develop eco-friendly materials as a long term goal. And consumers must have their own values about development and environment. It seems very clear to solve this problem, but it's so hard to take into practice. Lots of people are nearsighted and they haven't realized the importance of environment. The first thing that we have to do is to convince people of the great importance of that.

As mentioned earlier, a huge increase in sales of Smartphone is natural in this world. However, we should not take this phenomenon for granted. Although both development and conservation are essential to our lives, we have to put more values on the latter. We are socially responsible to pass down great nature to our future generation. It's possible to do that. Let's do that from bringing the phones which aren't used in your drawers to the near public or private institutions.
